Meet Jessica

Jessica is a Wilson-certified reading specialist and lifelong special educator, as well as a dedicated advocate for students and families navigating the special education system. She has extensive experience supporting families through every stage of the process—from early intervention through school-age services—helping them understand their rights, access appropriate supports, and make informed decisions for their children.

With a background in teaching across ICT, resource room, and self-contained settings, and experience conducting and interpreting educational assessments, Jessica brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work. She partners closely with families to provide clear, practical guidance and strong advocacy, ensuring students receive the services and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and independently.

Meet Spencer

Spencer is an executive functioning coach and former special education administrator with over 15 years of experience helping students build critical skills like organization, time management, self-advocacy, and self-regulation. He has worked with students of all abilities in specialized and inclusive school settings and has overseen teams of educators, designing programs and supports that meet diverse learner needs.

As both an educator and parent, Spencer combines professional expertise with firsthand insight into the challenges families face in the education system. He focuses on helping students develop independence, confidence, and practical strategies that allow them to succeed academically and in everyday life.

Meet Rob

Rob is an experienced educator with over 18 years of teaching in New York City middle and high schools, working with students across a wide range of abilities and learning needs. Throughout his career, he has taken on leadership roles within his school community and partnered closely with families to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. This work has shaped his approach—focusing not only on academics, but also on building the executive functioning skills students need for independence, including organization, time management, and self-regulation.

In his tutoring, Rob takes a personalized, structured approach that integrates executive functioning support with academic instruction. He works with students of all learning styles, using practical, research-based strategies to help them stay engaged, build confidence, and make meaningful progress both in and out of the classroom.
